 The aim of this book is to spark an impassioned and thought-provoking debate on the path of beauty and on the role that the different artistic expressions play in announcing the faith, with a view to offering the Pastors of the Church and laypeople in general a valid response to the challenges of our times through a suitable pastoral of culture. It contains contributions provided by advisors and experts during the Plenary Assembly of the Pontifical Council for Culture, held in March 2006.
